Young martial arts phenomenon Nassim Faras Lahrizi appears on “The Queen Latifah Show” today, April 10, 2014!
Already five-time world martial arts champion at the age of nine, Lahrizi will be part of a lineup that includes Felicity Huffman, Alexander Ludwig and REO Speedwagon.
The “Young Dragon” is set to start shooting his first film, “The Martial Arts Kid”, next month.

The lineup for the taping of an episode of “The Queen Latifah Show” on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 was impressive. REO Speedwagon performed and actress Felicity Huffman was among the guests.
But Nassim “Young Dragon” Faras Lahrizi stole the show.
The 9-year old – who already has 5 World Championships, 108 major titles and a big role in the upcoming film, “The Martial Arts Kid” – was impressive both in answering Latifah’s questions and in a weapons demonstration.
The praise for his performance came instantly from all over, starting with James Wilson, a producer on “The Martial Arts Kid”.
“He was great”, says Wilson. “He really made an impression on the audience.”
People started chiming in on Lahrizi’s performance on “Latifah” with social media as well.
“One true talented little star in the making”, said CJ Livermore, CEO and Founder of Soundsunique Records, on his Facebook page. “So proud to be friends with this little man and his dad.”
“I’ll say it again this boy is going to be the next Bruce Lee”, Livermore continued. “You mark my words.”
“This is my Hero I believed in Him from the first Day. I was the first one to interview him and his dad GM Hamid Lahrizi when the community was asleep”, said Rslou El, CEO of Jota TV on his Facebook page.”Hope now ya’ll understand the importance of being involved with the new generation that needs our attention!! “The Young Dragon” had said before the show that this would be, in his words, “The biggest day of my life. I feel like Prince Nassim as the guest of the “Best Queen” on “The Queen Latifah Show”.
Sounds like “The Young Dragon” was ready for it. The episode of “The Queen Latifah Show” featuring Nassim Faras Lahrizi will air on April 10, 2014.

The young martial arts sensation – at the age of nine, already has five World Championships and 108 major titles – caught the eye of someone at Latifah’s gabfest and they contacted his father, Hamid.

“It was a complete surprise”, says Hamid Lahrizi. “We did not contact anyone at the show. They contacted us. I think someone said they saw Nassim’s demo reel on YouTube and after that they wanted to have him on.”
As for “The Young Dragon”, Nassim Faras Lahrizi is excited about the opportunity being on “The Queen Latifah Show” represents to promote both himself and his first movie, “The Martial Arts Kid” – which is headlined by martial arts legends Cynthia Rothrock and Don “The Dragon” Wilson.
“I’m very excited to be making a karate movie with Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Cynthia Rothrock”, he says. “I’m going to feel great about being on ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ and I’m very excited to be on the show!”
“The Young Dragon” wants it known he will not just be talking on the popular program. “I’m going to do a demonstration”, he says. “With weapons.”
Hamid Lahrizi says that both Don “The Dragon” Wilson and his brother James Wilson – who is a producer on “The Martial Arts Kid” – will be attending the taping of “The Queen Latifah Show” today.
However, there is one person “The Young Dragon” will be most happy to see. His father, Hamid. “He’s like my best friend”, says Nassim Faras Lahrizi. “We’re almost always together and when I’m training, he helps me to do stuff – he helps me (to get better).”
