The growth he experienced in business also took place for him in the entertainment industry. He began again as a commentator for Donofrio MMA, a TV Mini-Series, and the TV series Xtreme Cagefighting Championships and Cage Combat MMA and other series. He worked in different kinds of roles both on television and in films and took pride in is his commitment to the characters he played, regardless of the size of the role or the size of the paycheck. As film opportunities slowed in Michigan, he decided he wanted to make films of his own. He didn’t have a film school background and, with only limited experience, he decided to go online to further his education in filmmaking and also took several more classes and seminars in acting. Finally in 2016, when they felt they were ready, Harley and his wife Kaiti, formed the film production company Painted Creek Productions.
Harley Wallen is now writing, producing, acting and directing and has found his life’s purpose.
