Martial Artist, Geoff Meed, is an actor, writer and stuntman. He was born on December 31, 1965 in Houston, Texas. He began his career in the entertainment industry working as a stuntman in in the Wild West Stunt Show, The Adventures of Conan, and The Miami Vice Action Spectacular at the Universal Studios Hollywood Tour. Using that as a springboard, Geoff has performed almost all of his own stunts as an actor, including going through glass windows, highfalls, car chases. He also does all his own stunt fighting and has fought with the likes of Steven Seagall, Chuck Norris, and Mark Dacascos. Geoff has been in so many television shows and movies that it is difficult to list them all. He is also a video game voice actor. Geoff Meed is one of the few actors who has appeared on all three of the CSI shows – CSI, CSI Miami, and CSI NY.
As a playwright, Geoff has had five original plays produced in Los Angeles. He directed four of them, and starred in all five. He recently wrote the screenplay for the Action, Sci-Fi film Independence Day (2016).
Geoff holds a fourth degree Black Belt in Kempo under reknown Kenpo Grandmaster Jim Brassard and Black Belts in Hap Ki Do and Tae Kwon Do. He earned his first Black Belt in Japanese karate. He has been inducted into numerous Halls of Fame including the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Hall of Heroes on May 8, 2010 and into the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Honors on January 22, 2011.
Geoff was a nationally ranked collegiate power lifter, and record holder in the 198 lbs. class, at The University of Texas at Austin.
In February 2012, while filming the western Shadow on the Mesa for the Hallmark Channel, Geoff was thrown and trampled by his horse. He suffered 8 broken ribs on his left side, broke his sternum in two pieces, his liver was lacerated and it required 3 titanium plates to repair the damage done to his face.
It has taken a great deal of time to heal, but Geoff is back in the saddle and working again and he recently played the role of Jared Miko in Chicago P.D.. We guarantee you will see him everywhere again soon!
